How to Make Shahi Tukda at home #Royal Piece

Shahi Tukda I Origin Story:
Indian Royal Piece or "Shahi Tukda" is one of the famous deserts which directly come from Hyderabad cuisine. It originated during the Mughal Reign in India. It is fired bread in pure ghee and garnished with Sweet Rabdi and dry fruits. Shahi Tukda having High Nutrition value is good to eat, easy to make at home dish. Here is the mouth-watering recipe of "Shahi Tukda"


Shahi Tukda I The Ultimate Royal Piece sweet dish Recipe:
Before you Start, Must Have Ingredients:
  1. 4 Slices of Bread
  2. 1 cup ghee for Deep Frying
  3. 3 and 1/2 cup of Condensed Milk
  4. 4 Tbsp Sugar
  5. 3 Cardamon Flower
  6. 15 Almonds (Soaked), Pistas and Cashew
  7. 1 pinch of Saffron Soaked in 2 Tbsp of Hot Milk
  8. 3 Tbsp Khoya
  9. 1/2 Cup Water
  10. Rose essence
Preparation:
  1. Air Dry the bread for deep Frying as moist bread takes lots of Ghee to get fried
  2. Remove the Brown Edge of the Bread, and slice it into two diagonal parts.
  3. Fry the bread pieces on the low flame with ghee till the bread pieces turn into golden brown color and crispier.
  4. Put the bread pieces side in tissue paper to soak excess Ghee
  5. Prepare sugar syrup by mixing 4 Tbsp sugar in water just to immerse the sugar in it. Boil it and bring to 1 string consistency and add rose essence to it.
  6. Immerse the Fried Bread Slices in Sugar Syrup one after another and put them in the plate, so that the sugar and it flavor dissolves inside the Bread.
  7. Grind Almonds, pistas and cashew along with, sugar 3 cardamon, saffron mix and pour them into a pan with 3 and 1/2 cup of condensed milk and boil them till the milk reduces down to 2 cups, giving it a smooth texture and Rabdi is made.
  8. Pour this Rabdi over "Shahi Tukda" and sprinkle the chopped dry fruits over it for Garnishing.
  9. Serve Hot in winter and cold in Summer. Enjoy
